Spring clothing style for girls. Basic wardrobe for girls with spring color type

A spring wardrobe should include items that are suitable for cooler weather and warmer weather, that look beautiful and stylish and combine well with each other, that is, they should be of universal color and style.

Among outerwear, the most versatile item can be considered a trench coat - it can be a discreet color: beige, gray, blue, sand, white or black. With him, all things will look appropriate. For colder times, a short cashmere coat in a light shade is suitable, and for warmer times, a neutral-colored windbreaker.

A basic wardrobe for spring should definitely include a knitted dress - it should fit your figure and be of medium length. It can be complemented with a cardigan, jacket, bolero, or worn with scarves and various jewelry for variety.

It goes well with a coat, raincoat, high boots, shoes, and ankle boots. Underneath, you should definitely wear thick black or patterned tights.

Another dress that will make your life easier is a sheath dress that shapes your figure and suits ladies of all sizes.

There should also be at least two skirts - a strict straight skirt made of thick black fabric (maybe a pencil skirt), knee-length or slightly lower, a skirt made of thick denim.

A warm, formal suit, made of woolen fabric, will help you out in cool weather and at work when the central heating has already been turned off - the jacket should be slightly fitted and the skirt should be straight. If the suit is a trouser suit, then the trousers may be slightly flared.

It will be great if you add a couple of blouses of different colors and a few turtlenecks to your basic wardrobe for spring. With their help you can refresh your daily look.

A jumper will go perfectly with jeans or trousers, and it will also look good with skirts.

A basic wardrobe for spring would be incomplete without jeans - these could be classic jeans of that color that will go well with a trench coat and turtlenecks, a jumper.

Speaking about spring shoes, it’s hard not to talk about boots - these can be models that are universal in both style and color, which could match any combination of your basic items.

It is best to choose practical boots made of black or brown leather to the knee or slightly lower, tightly covering the shin, with a stable heel or low platform.

As an option, you can consider ankle boots that match skirts, trousers and even dresses.

As for shoes, there should be several pairs of them - for going out, walking the streets, for work. Each of the pairs should correspond to its purpose - evening ones should be classic, but decorated with buckles or a toe, or trim, work ones should be strict and comfortable, and for walking shoes should be simple and very comfortable.

Spring is the time to forget about warm jeans and change into skirts and dresses. For this metamorphosis, we will need tights - not too thick, but enough to protect against spring chill. It is best to choose warm knitted tights with a small percentage of wool, microfiber tights. In these tights you will be reliably protected from colds and hypothermia.

If the spring wind chills to the bones, take advantage of the protection of cashmere scarves - there can be several of them in order to make successful combinations.

Among the spring accessories, it is worth noting the belts that decorate both dresses and trousers in trouser suits; they can be leather, with metal elements, made of textiles and other materials.

For spring, you need a bag that is completely different from the winter one - it is slightly smaller than the winter one, made of suede or textile, convenient for carrying a netbook or documents. For evening events, you need to get a slightly larger clutch or handbag.

In the instagram of ugly sneakers, I realized that the rails of the fashion narrative on the blog need to be turned a little for a while :) And therefore today it will not be about cellophane raincoats and not about Crocs on the platform. And about the good old basic wardrobe. Who's happy?

I very cynically sifted through all the upcoming brand trends and left in this post only the simplest and most understandable things from the spring must-haves - the base. So we have a great excuse to go through our closets and think about how to wear a pencil skirt or a cotton jumpsuit to subtly update our everyday outfit and at the same time stay away from trendy extremes. You'll like it.

To create a basic mood, I’ll first show you a few beautiful pictures of an adequate, fresh street style. At the same time, let’s make sure that trends don’t need to be taken sooooo literally. You can rock an awesome bow even in today’s wild fashion. We know that the whole trick is in the dosage and proper adaptation. Here's another relevant one:

Well, now let's go through the list. I’ll say right away: I collected it according to my taste and according to my criteria of everyday adequacy, so you can easily choose just one thing for yourself - and everything will be great!

Pantsuit

Actually, we could stop at this point in today’s selection – because there is simply no more popular thing right now. It seems to me that almost all designers have gone through the costumes and street style on top. I can’t even single out any specific must-have nuance. Well, maybe the general impression of masculinity and at least slightly oversized. And at the same time a looooong rainbow of colors.

Suits by Dolce&Gabbana, Victoria Beckham and Ports1961 from the spring-summer 2018 collections

By the way, a loose suit is also damn slimming, who forgot. In general, this is now the number one thing to such an extent that you can walk it stupidly like a suit - that is, without any unnecessary styling at all. Here are examples of current street style and on guests of currently ongoing shows:

Please note: in each outfit the suit is worn over a turtleneck. This is not a requirement, but the set is very favorable now

And then the best part begins: the suit can not only be worn as a total look, but also separated. At the same time, there is such an incredible number of outfits with different moods, it turns out that an unfortunate two will pay for itself seven times over the next month.

Well, keep up with the fiery life hack. If you want it to be more fiery, wear a suit on your naked body with huge aglicross earrings. I compiled photos from the instagram of a clothing store of Belarusian designers into a collage @kanceptkrama_by for this red suit @rawstore paired with earrings @olga_gradiva demonically beautiful. The second example is the Italian brand Krizia.

Red leather trench coat

Yeah. The shift on red is now total. But at the same time, a trench coat made of leather/eco-leather is a very convenient thing to have in your wardrobe. Especially if you filter the podium and choose not scarlet varnish for your closet, but matte trench coat in any muted shade of red. Plus – laconic style. By the way, even on the catwalks, trench coats were very discreet. Really great.

Joseph, Trussardi and Dior trench coats from the spring-summer 2018 collections

When it comes to outfitting with him, the main thing is not to overdo it. Here I sketched out two very simple and relevant combinations: for those from my sandbox, I wholeheartedly suggest wearing a trench coat in a normcore manner - with trousers, a T-shirt and sneakers. For those who are categorically against ugliness on themselves, try the option with a loose turtleneck + ankle boots with jeans (trending white ones are great, but you don’t have to bother).

While I was writing the post, my feeds were constantly updated with fresh street style from the passing fashion weeks. Red trench coats are flashing quite actively there. Mostly, of course, in lacquer finish – but that’s what fashion weeks are for. We simply turn on the adaptation mode in our heads:

Dark denim jeans

I’ll make a disclaimer right away: in general, we’re talking about any item made from such strict plain denim - jeans, shirts, skirts, dresses, jackets, etc. But I'm guessing that these simple jeans with a normal fit and without a single torn edge are exactly the thing that many here missed. So here it is:

These are Max Mara, Tibi and Tom Ford from the spring-summer 2018 collections

You need to do exactly two things with them. Firstly, if you wish fold the bottom so that the light underside is visible– this is a distinctive feature of dark denim and another trendy nuance of spring. Secondly, complement jeans with any current shoes– be it metallic sneakers, white mules or pointy kittenheels. I don’t even offer a bike to the top! Admit it, who is happy?

Pencil skirt below the knee

I don’t remember whether I said it or not, but I have one remark about pencils. I hate it when they are categorically referred to as a must-have base. The basic one can be a laconic skirt of any style you need.. But what cannot be taken away from a pencil is its effectiveness. And the most ideal pencil - knee-length - just entered the top spring trends. But I hope we understand that each of us has our own “behind the knee”!

Skirts from Prada, Fendi, Trussardi and Max Mara from the spring-summer 2018 collections

What do we do with a skirt in spring? And again, you won’t believe it, but sneakers are not included in the mandatory conditions :) On the contrary, the most must-have addition to a pencil is mules or narrow-toed shoes/boots of any current type. On top of this is something unisex - a loose shirt or pullover. Then you get a more dress code outfit:

To make your look more relaxed, welcome to the kingdom of sneakers, oversized sweatshirts, T-shirts and nylon socks with sandals. Do you know which socks are especially in favor now? Very thin nylon ones without elastic on top (like those from Oysho).

Actually turtleneck

I think I’ve already mentioned her in passing three times during this post – and for good reason. There’s an interesting story with the turtleneck: it doesn’t seem to be a separate item on the list of must-haves for spring, but at the same time, not a single current combination can do without it. Seriously, in any unclear situation, wear a turtleneck. Just one caveat: no oblipone!

Well, as is clear from the context, current trends are very fond of turtlenecks in multi-layered outfits. On top you can have anything - a shirt, a jacket, a jumpsuit, a corset if you want. In general, you have to take it. And you can do more at once - because this is generally the leader of the base :)

Checkered jacket-coat

I thought for a long time what to include on our list: a checkered jacket, trousers or a coat - because they are all at the peak of popularity. But in the end I decided to draw your attention to a thing that is often found in street style, but in our climate I can’t dare call it a “coat”. We are talking about a long checkered jacket, which is made from suiting fabric and is often Googled as a “summer coat.” This is another ever-living and always relevant second layer to our collection. Just right for the warm off-season to wear wide open.

This spring you need to do about the same thing with it as with a suit - wear it stupidly. Wide open, under the belt, with flowing dresses, jeans and wide silk trousers (they are also in trend, if anything). There really are a lot of options.

Sharp-nosed kittenheels

We have already discussed almost everything about shoe must-haves for spring in separate posts. Only kittenheels offended - or rather, pointed-toed shoes of all subspecies with tiny heels. And they have the right place in our list of trend databases. Just in case, let me clarify that this spring we love and wear a bunch of kittenhill things - shoes, sandals, mules, ankle boots.

Again, I have already shown some of the most successful combinations above - with a midi skirt and rolled up jeans. But by and large, now kittenheels are a trendy replacement for pointy ballet flats. So you can wear them with anything if possible opens the ankle. I put it in italics because this is never a dogma, but as practice shows, this is how kittenheels look most harmonious and elegant in an outfit.

Coveralls

Well, now let's have a spoonful of honey for lovers of relaxed outfits, otherwise you probably got bored among the pencils. I found my favorite among the trendy things - a loose jumpsuit. Fashion sources have called this must-have “worker’s overalls,” but there is one catch. The material and styling can be anything you want. I found everything from designers from silk to boiled eggs - so we are not limited in choice.

Jumpsuits by Stella McCartney, MaxMara, Tibi and Trussardi from the spring-summer 2018 collections

By the way, this is very convenient in terms of basicity. Choose a uniform in your style and mix it in any way without any problems. I love loose overalls precisely for their excellent compatibility even with the strangest shoes.

Bulky sneakers

Well, at the end of my list - a promised bonus for those who in our Instagram discussion found themselves on the side of ugly evil :) I promised to include pensioner ugly sneakers in the list of basic must-haves for three reasons. Firstly, I like them; they really break popularity records. Secondly, they really work as a great relaxed staple in many modern wardrobes.

And thirdly, outfits with aglicrosses can be beautiful and even feminine. Just take plain light ones.

That's... not all. But I’ll still put an end to today’s list. There are still a lot of beautiful and quite wearable things, and we will definitely be sorting them out over the next six months.

And I have a question: would you like to analyze anything from today’s list in detail in a separate post? It seemed to me that everything seemed clear - but if some kind of unanimous application emerges, then I will be happy.

Surely each of us has heard something about basic wardrobe. How to compose it - from what things, how many of them should there be? It turns out that to look fashionable, you don’t have to buy the latest innovations in the fashion industry. Having basic outfits at your disposal, you can create a completely modern, but unique look.

What is a basic wardrobe?

What is this basic wardrobe? And this is a set of the most necessary things for every woman, which are universal, practical, beautiful and easy to combine.

Of course, every woman has her own ideal wardrobe. But at the same time, stylists have identified the basis on which it is best to build your wardrobe.

And the secret is very simple - it's a classic. After buying hot new items, you will eventually come to the conclusion that you have nothing to wear! And having jeans, a sheath dress, a cashmere jumper and ballet shoes, you can complement them to your liking with some fashionable items and accessories and be on trend!

Spring accents for a basic wardrobe

In spring, you especially want something fresh and new, some kind of change. It's time to audit your wardrobe and update it with current things.

So, let's see how a basic wardrobe will help you look fashionable in the new season.

Coat

While it's quite cool outside, a coat will be an indispensable item in your spring wardrobe.

One of the basic wardrobe options is presented in this video:

Basic wardrobe - where to start

Sooner or later, every woman is faced with a situation when, waking up in the morning, she does not want to spend time creating an interesting image, she wants to quickly get dressed, leave the house and feel comfortable throughout the whole day.

It’s not for nothing that our thrifty and practical mothers and grandmothers came up with the saying “to the feast and to the world.” Because, even with a lot of different clothes, you can face the problem of “nothing to wear.” It’s much easier when you don’t have a lot of clothes in your wardrobe, but they help out in any situation. It is optimal if the wardrobe contains things that are comfortable, that do not become outdated or can be changed slightly, and that are perfectly combined with each other.

These are the things that serve as the basis of a basic wardrobe. Win-win images are built on them. These things are your “second skin.” No wardrobe can be called complete if it does not contain basic things. Therefore, first of all, start with the formation of a basic wardrobe.

Rice. 1. An organized basic wardrobe is your faithful friend and assistant. With it you will never have to deal with the problem of “what to wear”.

Basic wardrobe - how to make it

You should create a basic wardrobe, first of all, based on your lifestyle. Yes, there are different lists of basic things recommended by stylists, but if you are a housewife and most often wear jeans, T-shirts and sneakers, then these are the “core” of your wardrobe, and not a white shirt, pencil skirt and classic pumps. Or, for example, you have a creative profession, then a casual wardrobe would be most appropriate for you, but not a business suit, which would be appropriate for an office worker.

Remember the things that were previously in demand and often helped you out - perhaps there is a reason to add them to your basic wardrobe. In addition, when choosing basic things (and any other clothing, in principle), you should take into account your body shape and the colors/shades that suit you most.

Fig.2. The basic wardrobe is different for everyone. From left to right: basic sheath dress, basic pencil skirt, basic Chanel style jacket.

Basic items in the wardrobe

However, there are certain requirements for things in a basic wardrobe. They should be of good quality, neutral colors (beige, brown, grey, dark blue, black, white, etc.), have the simplest possible cut and minimum details, and also fit you perfectly. Too boring, you might think.

Yes, of course, it’s good to have bright and unusual things in your wardrobe, but, as a rule, to create a harmonious ensemble from them, you need absolute taste, and sometimes this is not enough, since such things are good only in solo versions, where they play the main role , and for secondary ones, things are again selected from the basic wardrobe.

Elements of a basic wardrobe

If you set out to learn about the elements of a basic wardrobe, you will probably come across lists offered by different stylists. You can familiarize yourself with them for a general understanding of what elements can be included in a basic wardrobe, but you shouldn’t run headlong into shopping with these lists. Because everyone has their own base.

For some, A-line skirts are more suitable than the pencil skirts offered in similar lists, or, given their needs, someone needs simple T-shirts and jeans more than white shirts and formal trousers, which are appropriate for business attire.

Fig.4. There are many lists of basic wardrobe, but remember - you should create a basic wardrobe not according to lists, but based on your lifestyle.

The ideal basic wardrobe

The ideal basic wardrobe takes into account your basic needs. Stylists often come across the following advice for choosing basic clothing: buy an item if in the future you can easily create four looks with it using items you already have in your wardrobe. That is, having bought another skirt, you mentally remember that, for example, you can combine it with a white shirt, a jumper, a jacket, and a bright top. Thus, you will get four completely different looks, suitable for different situations.

Fig.5. One skirt - three looks: with a jumper, T-shirt and bomber jacket, top and jacket

Seasonal basic wardrobe

Now about seasonality. We live in a country with a pronounced seasonal division. Therefore, having one basic wardrobe for summer and autumn is unrealistic, no matter how much you would like. There are, of course, items of clothing that can “move” from one season to another, but you can’t get by with them alone. Below are examples of seasonal basic wardrobes.

Let's make it clear right away that this is the minimum. Due to your lifestyle, you won’t need some of this, or, on the contrary, you can expand the options offered by purchasing the basic things you need.

Basic wardrobe for autumn

Fig.8. Basic wardrobe for autumn. Jacket, cardigan, jeans, skirt, sweater, boots.

Basic wardrobe for winter

Fig.9. Basic wardrobe for the winter. Coat, sweater, trousers, skirt, dress, boots, headdress.

Basic wardrobe relative to age

There will be slight differences in the basic wardrobe based on age, but these should still be taken into account. It is clear that at 20 years old everything suits you, there are no special restrictions and you can afford to experiment with different lengths, different styles, colors and prints.

At the age mark of 40 and above, you need to pay due attention to the sculptural cut. Say no to overly tight clothing and mini lengths.

After 60, allow yourself to enjoy expensive fabrics. Your priority should be the quality of basic things.

As mentioned above, everyone can have their own basic wardrobe. But if we take the classic basic wardrobe of a modern woman, then its basis is:
- jacket;
- sheath dress;
- pencil skirt;
- straight-cut trousers;
- White shirt;
— cardigan/sweater;
- jeans;
- white T-shirts;
- pumps;
- a bag with a structured shape.

Building a modern basic wardrobe

If you set out to create a basic wardrobe from scratch, then get ready for the fact that it will take you up to two years. Focus on fashion trends, adapting them to your basic wardrobe.

Jacket/blazer

If you want to create a basic wardrobe that would not look boring, stylish, modern and relevant, then choose those styles of basic things that are relevant now. Everything related to styles comes into fashion for more than one season. Therefore, the basic item will still serve you for quite a long time - 3-4 years.

A jacket is a must in a modern basic wardrobe. Better yet, a blazer. Please note that it should not be fitted or short, as this model is already outdated. A loose, elongated blazer, without hard shoulders, fits well even on women with curves. It can be without buttons, as it is most often worn unbuttoned. Or you can create a more closed version by tying a leather belt over the blazer.

An alternative to a jacket is a bomber jacket. The bomber jacket has been a hit in recent years. You can wear it with any simple basic things. It makes the look more modern and casual.

Fig. 11. A modern basic jacket/blazer. On the left - they fit, on the right - they don’t fit.

Biker jacket

It’s hard to imagine a basic wardrobe without a leather biker jacket. Biker jackets have their own character, which is always emphasized by straight lines and sharp angles. Therefore, choose a model with a collar consisting of two triangles (English collar). A stand-up or round collar on a leather jacket will make you look older. If you have high hopes for a leather jacket, then take the simplest option possible, with a minimum of decor (preferably without it).

Fig. 12. Modern basic biker jacket. On the left - they fit, on the right - they don’t fit.

Sweater

Another item of modern basic wardrobe is a sweater. Oversized - for slender women, or a straight-cut sweater that does not change the contours of the figure. Pay attention not only to how the sweater fits your figure, but also to its texture. Thin textures do not add extra volume, unlike coarse knitting, for example. Tight sweaters are taboo, they are outdated and do not look stylish or modern.

The sweatshirt is a sporty version of a loose fit, with an elastic band at the bottom. Suitable mainly for slender women with small breasts. For those who are overweight, or have large breasts or large hips, choose a simple sweater rather than a sweatshirt, because a sweatshirt emphasizes the existing volume.

An alternative to a sweater is a turtleneck. If the turtleneck has a fitted cut, then use it only as a bottom layer, putting a cardigan, vest or jacket on top, for example. If you don't plan to wear anything over a turtleneck, give preference to a straight-cut model that doesn't hug your figure - this turtleneck looks fresher and more relevant in light of the latest fashion trends. The preferred materials are knitted jersey, wool, and cashmere.

Fig. 13. A modern basic sweater/turtleneck. On the left - they fit, on the right - they don’t fit.

Dress

A modern basic dress is not necessarily a sheath dress. Remember, basic clothing should fit perfectly and not highlight flaws. A sheath dress is not suitable for all body types. Therefore, choose the dress style that suits you best. Basic dresses can also include a shirt dress or a simple straight-cut dress that fits quite loosely. A few more words about the sheath dress - do not wear a blouse under it. Either wear it as is - with bare arms, or choose a sheath dress with long sleeves.

Fig. 14. Modern basic dress. On the left - they fit, on the right - they don’t fit.

This doesn't mean you shouldn't have dresses on the right in your wardrobe. They can be in your wardrobe, they just aren't basic.

Trousers

Basic trousers are the ones that fit you perfectly, so make your choice based on fit first. For slender, beautiful legs, you can afford skinny pants or leather leggings. For everyone else, modern basic trousers are 7/8 cropped (to the ankle), straight or tapered, with a normal waistline (not low rise). Pants with arrows are visually slimming.

These trousers can be worn with both heeled and flat shoes. Wide straight trousers from the hip are also permissible; they should be worn to the floor, that is, they are more demanding on shoes. An option for more daring fashionistas is culottes. These are cropped wide-leg trousers.

Fig. 15. Modern basic trousers. On the left - they fit, on the right - they don’t fit.

Tops

A modern basic wardrobe includes several tops. Tops differ from regular T-shirts in that they have a more presentable appearance. Previously, all basic wardrobe lists included T-shirts. But T-shirts are not always appropriate; often jackets/cardigans were worn over T-shirts so as not to feel too “naked.”

There are no such problems with tops, as they have wider straps, allowing you to wear them without anything on top. This way you will look decent and feel comfortable. Current models of tops are those that have a straight cut, sit somewhat loosely on the figure, without any decoration.

A less formal option than a top is a T-shirt. A modern T-shirt should also fit fairly loosely on the figure. It can be tucked into a skirt or trousers completely, or only in the front, marking the waist line.

Fig. 16. Modern basic tops/t-shirts. On the left - they fit, on the right - they don’t fit.

Blouse

A modern blouse looks more like a men's shirt. It is loose, even slightly oversized, not transparent. The minimum set in a basic wardrobe: cotton for casual style and silk for more status. Well, let’s add a denim shirt to them, which easily fits into images with unusual things of an original cut, balancing them.

Fig. 17. Modern basic blouses. On the left - they fit, on the right - they don’t fit.

Accessories

A modern basic wardrobe is unthinkable without accessories. And first of all these are bags. One of the current basic models is the shopper bag. This is a large bag that can be carried either in your hand or on your shoulder. It should be of a laconic design, but the texture and color can be anything. It is the bag that sets the character of your image.

If you have a shapeless bag, then the character of your image will be so vague, too soft. If you are pursuing a different goal and want to look more active and complete, the shape of the bag should be easy to read. At the same time, round, smooth shapes are no longer relevant.
