DIY foamiran crafts with step-by-step instructions. Flowers from foamiran: master class, photo

Before studying the master class, you need to familiarize yourself with the material, its properties, and only after that create divinely beautiful flowers from Foamiran with your own hands. Mastering this type of needlework, you can usefully while away dull time by creating spectacular floral decor, funny toys or Scrapbooking elements.

This material is called differently: Plastic suede, Fom Eva, Revelour, Fom, Foamiran, Foam. It is a soft synthetic modern material used in Scrapbooking. Its main feature is plasticity, which tends to stretch slightly within 10%. It is enough for the material to accept, with subsequent memorization, the form necessary for the master. It reacts remarkably well even to the warmth of human hands, which makes working with it easy and pleasant.

In our time, the use of Foamiran has turned out to be a real godsend. Lovers of creativity note a large palette of colors, the possibility of additional coloring of the material in the required color, shade, which opens up, for both masters and beginners, almost limitless possibilities for flight of imagination and creativity.

The richness of Foamiran's colors is ideal for creating a variety of accessories. Flesh and pastel colors are used in the process of making dolls or works in the style of " Shabby».

Tools for working with material

To work with this material, ordinary scissors are sufficient. However, you can additionally use special machines to create the necessary forms, shaped composters, molds. You can change colors and add new shades using pastels or acrylic paints.

To change the shape, it is not necessary to use heating devices such as an iron or curling iron; the warmth of your fingers is sufficient. Under the influence of heat, plastic suede bends and crumples perfectly, while remembering “new” shapes and then preserving them.

It must be remembered that excessive tension of Foamiran can lead to rupture of the workpiece.

A thousand words cannot replace even one photograph. Therefore, we suggest moving from words to action and trying to create a purple flower with your own hands. Our master class will help you with this. We will not start with the birth of Peony, since it is difficult to perform, but the purple rose and snowdrop are just within the capabilities of everyone.

We invite you to become more familiar with this type of creativity by watching a video about what Foamiran is and how to work with it.

Purple rose

To perform a certain range of work you will need the following tools and materials:

  • Foamiran olive and purple colors;
  • scissors;
  • glue gun;
  • fastening for a hairpin, brooch or other decoration.

So, the master class on making our flower will consist of four stages:

  • cutting out;
  • gluing;
  • fluffing the bud;
  • sepals and calyx.

Each step will be described in detail by us with the provision of relevant photos.

Step one "Cutting"

From a roll of purple Foamiran, cut out a long strip, the width of which should correspond to three centimeters. Then we cut it into separate pieces, preferably rectangular in shape, from which the flower petals will be cut out.

When creating this composition, the shape of the petals can be arbitrary, but in our case it is oval with a small cut.

Now you need to twist the opposite edges of each cut petal with your fingers, and then slightly stretch the middle with your fingertips. You will need about 20 or 25 such petals.

Step two "Gluing"

After giving each petal the required curved shape with wavy edges, you can begin gluing them together. For this purpose, we take a glue gun or strong-hold glue. We apply it in small quantities to the “cut” part and gradually form a flower bud from them. In its center, to make work easier, place a ball rolled out of foil. You can also use other convenient materials at hand.

The petals are glued in a “checkerboard” order, the next one on top of the previous one, do not forget to press them tightly against each other. Using cold glue will significantly increase the process time, and using a glue gun will speed up any part of the work.

Step three “Blooming bud”

The petals are glued at approximately the same level in relation to each other. This method makes it possible to end up with a beautiful flower with smooth edges and a blossoming bud.

Now our master class can move forward and tell you exactly how to create an equally beautiful green part of the plant with your own hands.

Step four “Sepals and calyx”

From a flap of Foamiran, but already olive-colored, with scissors we cut out several long strips with a length of 7 to 8 cm and a width of no more than 1 cm. After this, we cut each of them into two even parts almost to the very end. Use your fingers to twist the elements until tight flagella, which, unwinding, will acquire the necessary “natural” shape for us.

While our flagella take the required state, from the same piece we cut out one, or maybe two, circles, the diameter of which does not exceed 3 cm. With their help, we will create a base for the flower. Subsequently, it is to these circles that the decorative fastening for our creation will be glued.

Perhaps our master class seemed a little difficult or insufficient in explanation to you.

For a more detailed look at how exactly this kind of flowers are created from Foamiran with your own hands, use the corresponding video, from which you will learn a lot of useful information.

Everlasting Snowdrop

Many of us enjoy the spring season by collecting snowdrops. This plant is listed in the Red Book, so these actions turn out to be a misdemeanor, which is punishable by a fine. Making this flower is much simpler than Peony.

However, if such beautiful flowers cannot be collected in the forest, since they are an endangered species, then let's create them artificially with our own hands from Foamiran. After completing the master class we offer, you will be able to make a whole armful of these flowers without breaking the law.

So, the manufacturing instructions say that in the creation process we will need the following materials and tools:

  • white foam;
  • olive-colored plastic suede;
  • toothpick;
  • heat gun;
  • for the stem - wire;
  • paints;
  • green tape;
  • scissors;
  • iron or curling iron.

Last time, our master class was based on a step-by-step disclosure of the process of creating a flower. In this case, we will do the same.

Creating petals

On a white piece of Foamiran, using a toothpick, draw the outlines of future petals: three internal (small) and three external (larger). Now cut them out using scissors.

The inside of the petals is tinted with green pastel. To do this, you need to draw hearts, and then paint over them all with chalk.

Next, you need to heat the iron. Depending on the number of modes for the most gentle. If there are only four of them, then give preference to the second one. Place your petal on the heated sole. It will stick well, but as it heats up, it will gradually begin to lag behind. The edges of the petal may melt a little during this step. But nothing bad will happen to your iron.

After heating, it will take on a convex shape and curl a little. Taking advantage of the moment when it is heated, use your fingers to give it the desired shape before it cools down. Agility in this case will not hurt. After cooling it will keep its shape perfectly. The same procedure should take place in relation to the large petals of the Snowdrop.

Creating the middle

A stamen, which can be purchased at the store, is glued to the end of a thick wire.

All three small leaves are glued to the finished structure so that they are on top of each other.

Collecting a flower

On top of the small petals we glue the large petals at the same level as them. As a result, you will get a half-opened flower. To create a flower whose bud has opened, you need to bend the large petals back and drop a small amount of hot glue onto their base. After it dries, the petal will fix its position.

Stem and leaves

We tear off the required length of tape and cut it with scissors into two ribbons of the required width. We wrap them around the bottom of the flower's wire and create a smooth transition to the bud itself. Winding occurs in a spiral.

To create Snowdrop leaves, you will need
pre-cooked olive foamiran colors. The further master class will consist of cutting out one small and two large petals, the middle of each one tinted with green pastel.

By squeezing each leaf separately along the central vertical with your fingers, we give it the natural shape we require.

To make the flower look as realistic as possible, bend it and glue the first leaf at the bend, as shown in the photo.

At the bottom of the stem, first glue one leaf, and then the second, as shown in the photo.

This concludes our master class, with the help of which you created a spring flower with your own hands - the Snowdrop.

Foamiran (FoamIran) is a soft sheet material in a palette of 20 or 24 colors (depending on the manufacturer), used in various types of needlework. The average sheet thickness is 1 mm. Foamiran is mainly made in China and Iran. Iranian is considered to be of higher quality, because... It was in Iran that the technique of making flowers from this amazing material originated. Foamiran can be painted and tinted with paints, patinas, and powders.
Foamiran is easy to shape using light heat (for example, applying to an iron or curling iron), twisting, stretching, processing with modeling tools, etc. After deformation, foamiran firmly retains its shape. That is why it is widely used for making topiary, flowers, jewelry (brooches, hairpins, elastic bands, headbands), dolls, and decorative elements for scrapbooking. Foamiran products are also used to decorate various premises (apartments, wedding and banquet halls, etc.). Flower brooches made of plastic suede do not wrinkle under outerwear, and this is a very valuable quality. Foamiran is an innovative material with endless potential for creativity, it is soft and silky to the touch. Its main feature is its ability to stretch slightly (up to 10%). This stretching is often enough for the material to take on and “remember” a new shape. This material is especially well shaped when exposed to the warmth of human hands (it does not get dirty or sticky). You can safely squeeze and twist the flexible suede, stretching it slightly. The material will easily take a new shape. However, excessive tension will cause the foamiran to rupture. The elasticity and relative strength of the material are due to the fact that foamiran contains ethylene and vinyl acetate. Plastic suede with a sheet thickness of about 1 mm is easily cut with scissors and cut out with shaped composters, as well as special cutting machines. Only specialized types of glue are suitable for working with plastic suede with strong fixation or a glue gun. Foamiran has a slightly porous structure, but at the same time has low water absorption. It is easy to clean, resistant to atmospheric influences and chemicals, non-toxic and harmless to the environment. The material is currently undergoing certification for the possibility of its use in children's creativity. You can also find it under the names: “Fom Eva”, “Foamiran”, “Foam” or “Foam”.

How to choose foamiran?

Most often, foamiran is made in Iran or China.Iranian EVA foam softer to the touch, thinner, with an uneven surface from 0.7 to 1.2 mm. The palette contains 22 natural colors. It is ideal for creating realistic flowers. Chinese foam is much denser and rougher, with a uniform surface. There are 25 different shades of colors in the palette. It is used in scrapbooking, to create dolls, jewelry and accessories.

You can choose the flower size yourself. It depends on what kind of flower arrangement you would like to create. Therefore, print the templates in the sizes you need.

For one flower we will need 3 small petals and 2 large ones. One sepal is also needed. We outline the templates on foamiran of a suitable color.

Now let’s tint the blanks using art pastels. To do this, lay them out on cardboard and paint them with a damp piece of foam sponge in the direction from the edge to the center. We paint the edge of the petal pink, the middle green, and the sepal brown.

Let's give it shape using heat treatment. We apply each piece to the iron for 2 seconds, then quickly place it on a foam sponge and press the center using a flower boule. You will get such voluminous flowers.

We also apply the sepals to the iron, then scroll between our fingers, collecting all the leaves into a bunch. We process it carefully so as not to tear the fom. After this, we straighten the workpiece.

We form the end of the wire into a droplet using pliers.

We string the first small flower with the petals facing up. We completely cover the wire loop with it.

Gradually glue all the blanks. The flower seems to open. This means that all subsequent layers do not need to be tightly glued to each other along the entire length.

We attach the sepals in the same way.

Recently, a huge amount of new modern materials for work have appeared for needlewomen. One of these innovations is foamiran. This is a soft and flexible material, from which it is very easy to make all sorts of crafts. Children can use it to work with appliqué and to make gifts, for example, for women on March 8th.

Adult craftswomen make hairpins, bracelets, headbands, belts from foamiran, and also use large ones to decorate various interior items and decor for holidays.

What is foamiran?

The origin of the name of the material is due to the English word Foam, which translates as “foam”. It consists of ethylene vinyl acetate. This is a decorative material with a foam structure. It is also called foam rubber; some people call it plastic suede because of its softness. Another name is revelur.

Foamiran is produced by Chinese and Iranian enterprises. It is produced in thin sheets, within 1 mm. The Iranian analogue is much thinner and of better quality, so you can also buy Chinese material to make children's crafts. And if you want to beautifully decorate the interior or decorate a room for a wedding or anniversary, then, of course, you need to take a higher quality Iranian one.

The color range is very extensive - up to 24 colors and shades, which can easily be combined to create a beautiful product. There is foamiran, which has sparkles in its structure, but such flowers will look somewhat pompous and unlike real ones. Some needlewomen select shades so clearly that the flowers look very natural, like real ones. This is probably why the material has gained such popularity in our country.

Properties

  • Foamiran is absolutely non-toxic. You can safely give it to children without fear that the child may lick it or be poisoned by the smell. Although some reviews report that at the very beginning of work, when they first opened the package with sheets, there was a slight smell. But this passes quickly and does not cause any discomfort in the future. If you give the material to a child, you can simply print out the colors you need in advance and leave them for an hour in another place for airing.
  • It almost does not absorb moisture, therefore, if a craftsman has made large-sized flowers from foamiran, then you can easily wash them with warm water and not be afraid that the product will lose its shape and swell from moisture.

  • The material is malleable and can be modified by heating. For example, to get slightly curled edges of the petals, they need to be heated. After cooling, foamiran remains in its acquired form forever, that is, the material has its own memory. This is convenient and more practical compared to flowers made from paper.
  • The material can be processed effortlessly. It is easy to cut, make holes with a hole punch, emboss, etc.

What can you do with foamiran?

Despite the fact that the color palette of sheets produced for sale is quite wide, craftsmen, for example, when making a large flower from foamiran, can tint it. For these needs they use pastels or But many needlewomen who do work to decorate a living room use watercolors, gouache, and even crayons. Some people use eye shadow and embossing powder.

Everything fits perfectly on such a fertile material as foamiran. The only thing is that in these cases the product turns out to be disposable; it cannot be washed from dust and used further. If such elements become dirty, you simply need to throw them away, as water will cause the paint to spread.

When making large flowers from foamiran with your own hands, you need to remember that PVA glue or adhesive stick, which are sold in office supplies, will not glue such material. You need to buy either superglue like “Momenta” or, even better, buy a glue gun. Craftswomen, in their reviews about the properties of foamiran, give beginners useful advice: if you glue the parts together, you cannot continue working right away. You need to leave it to dry for a day and give it time for good bonding.

Also, parts of the material can be sewn together with threads; they perfectly hold the parts in the desired position.

What kind of work can be done from foamiran?

Since the material is light, soft and flexible, it is used in almost all Hand-made works. This includes designing photo albums, decorating boxes, making voluminous bouquets for vases, hairpins, hoops, bracelets and even bouquets for the bride for the wedding ceremony.

Recently, they began to use this material in the design of premises: a wedding hall for the ceremony, an arch for the newlyweds, near which family and friends are photographed, the design of stairs and gates. Offices and beauty salons, hairdressers and halls for displaying fashion collections are decorated with large life-size foamiran flowers.

Nowadays, not a single beautifully decorated holiday is complete without floral arrangements. Pictures on the wall with large flowers made of foamiran look beautiful. Let's consider how to make flowers from such material, what you need to know and be able to do for this.

Step-by-step instruction

If the craftswoman previously made flowers from paper or fabric, then she will not see anything complicated when using the new material. Everything is done in the same way as usual working with paper. There are some subtleties of working with a hot iron and dyeing the material.

Let's look at how to make, for example, a poppy flower from foamiran. We start by cutting out a cardboard template for the petals. This is absolutely easy to do.

Then work is done on the central part of the flower. A circle is cut from a green leaf and wrapped around a large wooden bead. If a needlewoman is making a large flower from foamiran, then she can take a large one. It is lightweight and will not burden the product with its weight.

Next comes work on creating a black fringe inside the flower. These are the stamens in the middle of the poppy. They are made according to the principle of brushes. They wrap it around a template cardboard and then tie it in the middle. The loops are aligned and the edges are trimmed with scissors. The result is fluffy tassels, of which you need to have several so that the frame of the ball is not empty.

Making petals: master class

Large foamiran flowers are made using patterns that are several times larger than usual. The rest of the work is done the same way. Applying the pattern to a sheet of suede, outline it along the contour. Next, all the cut out petals are twisted. To do this, you need to roll one element into a tube and turn it with one hand to the left and with the other to the right. Then the petals straighten out, but the shape of the elements still remains wavy.

Next, the petals are wrapped and fastened around the ball and stick so that they are not one on top of the other. After installing all the petals, you need to start working on the leaves. To do this, blanks are cut out and the edges are notched to make the sheet carved. The last step in making a large foamiran flower is to glue them to the base with a hot glue gun. That's it, the poppy is ready.

Decoration of the wedding hall

The room looks very beautiful; from this material, you can combine foamiran with silk elements. Typically, sheets of delicate shades of pink, white and blue are used for the wedding hall or arch for the newlyweds. Designers not only design arches and walls; railings wrapped in ribbons or garlands with flowers look interesting. They use not only large flowers, but also other sizes, combining elements of different colors and shapes.

According to reviews from the craftsmen, you can place one large flower made of foamiran on each table or behind the chairs, having previously tied them with fabric or wide organza.

Living room decoration

Nowadays, floral arrangements by designers fit perfectly into the interior of residential premises. They are placed at eye level. This can be the frame of a door or mirror, the design of a column or interior arches.

Large and bright flowers add brightness and color to a room. Additional elements include small other flowers, leaves, figured butterflies or dragonflies. A frame for photographs or paintings looks interesting, with several roses or chrysanthemums made of foamiran glued around the perimeter.

Bedroom interior

Large flowers look very gentle and elegant against the background of the bed in the bedroom. The color scheme should be in harmony with the entire environment. It can be just a flower arrangement, or it can use several types of art. If you look closely at the photo of the bedroom from below, you will see that a picture of a tree with twigs and leaves was originally painted on the wall with acrylic paints. But large flowers give the picture volume and realism.

Such beauty can be located at the head of the bed, or it can be constantly before people’s eyes, on the front wall. This is if there is no TV in the bedroom.

Curtain holders

Decorated curtain and curtain holders are beautiful elements in the design of rooms. It can be a large bouquet or a beautifully trimmed thin strip. The floral arrangement should not stand out too much if the curtains are colored. If these are delicate pastel shades or generally the main colors are white, black or gray, then flowers of bright contrasting shades are allowed.

You can hang such delicate elements in the living room, in the bedroom, and in the nursery where the little princess lives. In a girls' room, using flowers from such a convenient and easy-to-work material, you can decorate an entire wall or a separate part of the room where the child plays or sleeps.

Studio decoration

Making large flowers from foamiran is a simple process, everything is the same as with small ones, only the pattern needs to be made larger. At the same time, a room decorated with such large elements attracts everyone's attention. Of course, such a design will not work everywhere, but in beauty salons or studios of professional photographers, such a design will look great.

Photos against such a background will turn out to be highly artistic. And the studio will look more picturesque.

Foamiran flowers: simple and understandable MK.

Artificial flowers have filled almost everything today. This includes interior decor, a chic clothing accessory, hair decoration, and designer jewelry. There are so many masters, so many different types and techniques. The most elegant ones are flowers made from foamiran.

Foamiran appeared with us not so long ago, but it has gained just crazy popularity due to the variety of colors and shades, easy to structure and realistic products that result. The common name comes from the Iranian factory of the same name that produces this delicious material. The company saw an excellent opportunity for handicrafts in the foam material, from which intricate sculptures, flowers, toys, and so on can be created without any difficulties.

How to make small flowers from foamiran with your own hands: patterns

Wreaths and headbands, hairpins and pins, as well as interior decor, are simply impossible to imagine without these realistic small flowers. They are easy to make, look great, and are easy to care for and durable. We offer an elementary master class for beginners, as a result of which we will create a delightful bouquet of violets.

We will need:

  • Two leaves of foamiran purple and green
  • Toothpicks
  • Wire
  • Yellow beads for cores
  • Hot glue
  • Pot and plaster, if you “plant”

So let's get started

  • Cut out a flower template from cardboard

  • Place the template on the foamiran and trace it with a toothpick. We strongly do not recommend drawing with a pen, as marks will remain on the finished product.
  • Cutting out flowers

  • We cut a wire 20 cm long. On each of them we string 3 beads in the middle and twist them as in the photo

  • We cut out leaves from green foamiran using the same method as flowers. Draw one leaf on cardboard as in the photo, cut it out and transfer it to the material with a toothpick. Please note: leaves should be smaller than flowers
  • We heat the flowers a little and give them shape
  • We make holes in the centers with an awl or a toothpick.
  • String on a wire

  • We repeat the same with the leaves and string them on the wire as well.
  • We drop glue between the flower and the leaf and press it together. Hot glue will also add some life to the flower.
  • If desired, we wrap the wire with tape, but if we “plant” tape, tape is not required
  • We still need some green material. We cut out leaves from it, draw veins with a toothpick and attach it to the wire

  • We dilute gypsum in a pot and “plant” our violets. But we fix the need with toothpicks so that the bouquet freezes evenly and beautifully.

How to make an orchid bud from foamiran for beginners, patterns?

Not everyone takes root in this most delicate flower, but that’s what they want. What can we say about accessories with this magnificence.

We will need:

  • Foamiran white, purple, green
  • Black beads with a diagonal of no more than 5 mm
  • Wire
  • Foil
  • Floral wire
  • Candle, awl, scissors, toothpick
  • Hot glue

Master Class:

  • An orchid consists of a core and 5 petals. Trace the template and cut it out. If desired, we increase or decrease the size of each part, but always symmetrically

  • We outline the middle template in such a way that the thin part joins another exactly the same thin part. When cutting them out, we leave them connected, that is, double

  • As in the previous master class, we trace the outline of the material with a toothpick, or, if desired, with an awl

  • Use your fingers to warm the material a little and stretch it a little. We do this carefully so as not to damage the integrity of the material.

  • Having stretched and condensed a slightly convex shape, we move to the edges. We stretch them so that they become a little wavy, like living petals.

  • The petal is ready for assembly. Let's move on to the next one. We take special care in thin areas

  • We cut the wire 17 cm long. We string it onto each bead and twist the ends as in the photo

  • Let's take the core. Use an awl to make a hole in the upper part of the part (as in the photo) and string it on a wire

  • We light a candle. We hold the workpiece above it at a height of approximately 20 cm. As soon as it starts to curl up, remove it.

  • Using an awl, we make holes in the petals and string them together as in the photo.

  • We also attach the triple part ourselves

  • Using a purple ballpoint pen, draw veins on the double petals. From the middle to the edges, fan out (again, look as in the photo)

  • We drip hot glue onto the wire and wrap it with foil along the top. Drop shape about 10mm long

  • Cut the green foamiran into droplet leaves 15 mm long and 10 mm wide. We heat it a little over a candle and form the volume. Glue on foil

  • The parts are ready, let's start putting them together. We wrap a green bud on the floral wire and wrap the tip of the wire as in the photo. The tip of the bud should rest against the tip of the wire

  • Stepping back 60 mm from the bud, we also attach the flower. But here the flower no longer rests against the wire, but, on the contrary, hangs at a distance of 15 mm

  • We also wrap two more flowers

  • Wrap the wire with tape

  • We secure the ends with hot glue. Place/lay down a branch of orchids and enjoy the beauty

Video: Orchid from foamiran. Foamiran flowers master class

We have prepared simple and interesting templates that will help you make beautiful flowers.

Foamiran flowers, peony: master class

A large, beautiful bud is simply designed for a feminine, delicate image. It is often discarded because the work seems voluminous, and if you look at other master classes, it seems overly complicated. We are looking for rationality, speed and simplicity. This is exactly what we will show in this MK.

You will need:

  • Thin (0.5-1 mm) foamiran in pink, dark pink and white colors
  • Floral wire no more than 0.8 mm thick
  • Wooden bead with a diameter of 15 mm (the color is not important, you can replace it with a foam bead, but be sure to have something light)
  • Superglue (hot too thick layer will give)
  • Depending on where the flower is intended, the headband, hairpin, base for the brooch
  • Scissors, wire cutters, hot glue

Master Class

  • We cut strips of 4-6 cm. In our case, we used 2 identical pink pieces and 1 white. But for a more realistic bud, it is still advisable to take three tones

  • Draw templates on cardboard and cut them out. The first few petals can be traced from the template onto the material with a toothpick, and then by eye. After all, each petal can be unique

  • To start work, cut out about 70 pieces. The narrowest are dark pink (core), those thicker are pink, the widest are white

  • If you initially cut out sections of the same width, then it will not be difficult for you to cut out the correct petals even by eye. Only the exact length is important; the width may vary slightly. Each subsequent petal is in contact with the previous one on the canvas. Look like in the photo

  • From the second color (lighter) we cut it wider. I recommend cutting out the wavy edge arbitrarily, without using a template. This will make the flower more realistic

  • Each time you cut a petal, turn the piece over to save material.

  • The next piece is white and the petals are the widest

  • Please note that there are very few leftovers.

  • Heat the iron, bring the petal and let it warm up a little. We make sure that it does not overheat, as you risk reducing it in size several times, making it rigid and inelastic

  • We fold the heated element like an accordion and roll it between our fingers. Stretch the material a little, but not too much

  • Open the petal, straightening the edges several times. The edges have become “fibrous” and more delicate

  • Press on the middle, slightly arching the petal at the edges. You will get a three-dimensional shape like a “boat”

  • When stretching, move carefully, making sure that the petal does not tear

  • Processing the petals will require a lot of time and effort, so we do not recommend that restless people start such a creation.

  • For convenience, arrange the petals in a circle in order.

  • We recommend using a wooden bead for the base; foamiran sticks well to it, unlike foil, and the wood is not corroded by super glue, like polystyrene foam. We thread the floral wire through the bead and twist it as in the photo. Apply a strip of glue and glue the first petal

  • We don’t just apply the petal, but press it so that it looks like in the photo. The core should not be visible in the final version

  • Next, in a circle, one by one, we glue first all the dark ones, then those that are lighter, and at the end the completely white ones.

  • When the bud becomes larger, it is inconvenient to sculpt from below, so we turn it over with the wire up and then glue it

  • We reach white. We glue 5 white petals at the same distance from each other. The next row covers the gaps

  • If there are still petals, distribute them evenly. I have 3 left and I decided to attach them too

  • Peony is ready! All that remains is to bite the wire, drop hot glue onto the core and glue it to the pin

  • For those who did it for the first time and made some mistakes, the bead is visible in the frequency, you can hide it by gluing the stamens

  • To add naturalness and effectiveness, crumble a little dry burgundy-pink pastel, moisten a napkin and blot along the edges. Blow dry with cool air

  • Peony is completely ready!

A delicate flower with the finest petals seems to have been created by nature. But if you look closely, you can understand that it’s Thomas. Everything ingenious is simple, and so it is with us. We simply took the flower apart, looked at how nature created it, and brought to life the beauty from the foamiran.

  • We created a template and labeled the number of petals of each size. Cut very small ones from light green Foma, the rest from white-milk

  • We cut each one out, warm it up a little, pull out the “boat” in the middle and stretch the edges as in the photo
  • Assembly is simple - on a ball of foil or wooden bead. A wire is threaded through it and twisted into a flagellum.

  • A drop of glue drips and the thinnest and smallest petal is glued. Next one by one
  • Having attached the last large petal, we glue two trefoils after making a hole in the middle with an awl
  • Additionally, we apply glue so that the flower holds tightly

  • We attach the tape and wrap it around the wire, also gluing the tip
  • Attach the flower to a brooch, headband, or hairpin as desired

How to make wildflowers from foamiran with your own hands: templates

From previous master classes, the principle of assembling flowers can be easily learned. But there are small wildflowers, the assembly of which is elementary, but templates of petals and leaves are needed. In this section you will find exactly that.

Large rose from foamiran: pattern pattern

A beautiful bud is not difficult to make and looks quite realistic. Suitable for any age, and will become a unique decor in the interior.

To make a rose you will need:

  • 2 sheets of Foma - red/pink/milky optional and green
  • Patterns (cardboard for them)
  • A piece of foil

The work is simple, but takes a long time, so before starting work you should stock up on time and patience.

  • Cut out patterns: two petals of the same shape but different sizes
  • We lay out the shape and trace each pattern with a toothpick five times. In total there are 10 petals
  • Turn on and heat up the iron
  • Apply each petal and warm it up slightly. First we pull out the middle, warm it up a little more and stretch it along the edges.
  • Base: you can roll a ball from foil, but if you have a wooden bead, we recommend using it
  • We pass the wire through the base and twist it
  • Glue the first small petal around the base
  • We bend the second one around the first one and stretch out the ends and squeeze them a little as in the photo
  • Subsequent petals can be left as is, or can be tinted with paint if desired.
  • We glue each petal overlapping the previous one. First small, then large
  • Cut out leaves from green foma as in the photo, tint and let dry
  • Heat it on the iron and form a leaf as in the photo
  • Glue roses to branches
  • We wrap the bases of the buds, leaves and all the wire with tape

Foamiran flowers, chamomile, patterns

Delicate wildflowers decorate and complement field compositions. A simple master class will definitely appeal to needlewomen.

For the flower you will need:

  • White foamiran
  • Cardboard for template
  • Oil pastel
  • Ruler, pencil, protractor

So, let's move on to the step-by-step creation of a flower.

  • We take cardboard and draw a circle on it with a diameter of 9.8.7 cm. Cut it out and transfer it to the form 3 times. Total 3 blanks of different diameters
  • Core. Strip 2*27 cm. Paint it yellow and wait until it dries
  • We cut the entire 1 cm strip into a fringe, twist it tightly and glue it along the side where there are no cuts.
  • The circle needs to be pierced in the middle with an awl, and the edges should be cut, leaving a diameter of 1 cm untouched, the edges should be rounded
  • Do the same with smaller circles.
  • Heat the iron, apply the petals and round each one a little
  • We pierce the yellow center with wire and secure it
  • We put the smallest flower on it, then the larger one, and the largest one.
  • Cut out a green circle with a diameter of 5 cm, cut it like the petals, but do not round it. Heat it up, shape it a little and string it onto the flower.
  • We heat the entire flower over the candle and form it completely
  • Attach to the base, if necessary, wrap the wire with tape

Apple tree flowers, foamiran apple tree branch, pattern

This master class is really easy and fast. We offer it to those who are ready to purchase some tools and not waste time on cutting by hand. For those who are still ready, you need to transfer the template onto paper and cut it out carefully enough so as not to damage the petals.

We will need:

  • Special hole punches
  • Super-clay
  • One toothpick
  • Two Thomas white and green
  • Wire
  • Tape

So, let's start making quick apple blossoms

  • Using a hole punch to knock out flowers

Apple tree branch from foamiran: drawing veins

  • Near the middle we glue each petal as in the photo

  • We cut a thin strip of 1.5*1.5 cm, make a fringe and twist it after smearing it with glue. Hold it over the candle, open it a little as in the photo. Dip the ends in yellow paint
  • Apple tree branch from foamiran: string the petals

    • Glue it to the wire, string the flower on it

    • We cut out an asterisk with a hole punch, heat it up and thin it out with our fingers.
